This two-hour, online workshop is for EFT trained therapists who have already completed an Externship. Seeding Attachment is an advanced EFT intervention that is used to plant the seeds of attachment security in couple therapy. It will improve your practice as you will learn how to bring attachment alive in the room to move your couples more fluidly from Stage 1 to Stage 2 key change events. The workshop includes short didactic presentations of theory, observation of short video segments showing seeding in action and experiential exercises to practice seeding attachment.
By the end of this workshop, participants will:
Learn ‘When’ and ‘How’ to use the seeding intervention to grow attachment security with couples through Stages 1 to 3 of EFT.
Adopt the attachment lens to ‘see’ attachment in the room and bring attachment longings and fears alive
Learn the 6 main themes of the seeding attachment intervention that help move couples more skilfully from Stage 1 to Stage 2 change events in the model.
