In this two hour online training participants will:
Get an overview of how therapist attachment strategies might impact the ability to stay with and help maintain a deepening of emotional experiencing
Watch clips which highlight the ‘therapist as secure base’ during deepening in EFT therapy Stage 1 & 2
Recognise that the depth of the therapist’s experiential focus helps clients achieve deeper experiencing
Reflect on their own practice and needs from an attachment lens in small breakout rooms
Bio:
Yve Gould is a Registered Psychotherapist & EFT Trainer who originally worked with young people and adults and taught in a variety of different situations. After training as a psychodynamic psychotherapist, she discovered EFT, taught Hold Me Tight Couples Workshops for ten years, and focused on Couples Therapy and Supervision, because of the power EFT has to transform lives and families. Yve offers relationship Intensives in her private practise, both online and in-person for therapists, medical and health professionals, and their partners. She is particularly interested in supporting therapists to develop personally and to integrate both the science and the art of EFT – the model and the heart of attachment-based psychotherapy.
